WHAT CONTENT SHOULD I POST ON INSTAGRAM TO BOOST MY BRAND?

You might think that Instagram is only good for sharing moments with friends and family, but it’s also a brilliant platform for finding new clients for your business.

Instagram is a powerful marketing tool, but there are some key rules you need to follow. Along with posting the best possible content (I’ll give you some examples in a moment), it’s also important to be consistent and to have variety.

Now if you want Instagram to work for your brand, you have to post the right sort of content – here are four tips for you to start with:

Tip 1: MAKE IT ABOUT YOU

Your Instagram feed shouldn’t be all business; your followers want to get to know you too. Use Instagram to introduce yourself regularly. I usually do this monthly, as I am gaining new followers all the time. This can be as simple as a photo of you with a quote or an image that shows part of your personal story. Make sure you have a series of professional photos you can share for these types of posts.

Tip 2: TELL THEM WHY

Next, tell them WHY you started your business, what keeps you going, and explain your core values. What gets you out of bed in the morning? What’s the most fulfilling thing about your job and why? Let your audience really get to know you.

Tip 3: PROVIDE EDUCATION

Another idea is to use Instagram to educate your followers. What information would they find interesting based on business? This could be about your area of expertise, what your processes are, or how to use your products or services. Again, don’t forget to use relevant and eye-catching images for this.

Tip 4: SHARE YOUR CREATIONS/CASE STUDIES

Finally, there’s your work: your pride and joy. Find ways to share your products, services, or achievements on Instagram in a visually appealing way.

Create a social media calendar to ensure your followers are hearing from you regularly. And if you don’t have professional images available, now is a good time to enlist the services of a professional brand photographer.
